SFC Kabaddi & Kho-Kho State Selection Trials 2026

Kabaddi & Kho-Kho State Selection Trials were held on 25th and 27th of April' 2026

This was a wonderful opportunity provided for the boys and girls of govt schools and aided schools from Chennai, thiruvallur, Kanchipuram and Chengalpattu district to showcase their talent and get selected to represent the State.

A fair and competitive platform brought out the best in young athletes, paving the way for the next level at the state selection trials held across Chennai.

These selection trails witnessed a powerful display of talent and determination!

SFC Summer Camp 2026

A summer camp was organised for the students of PBGC in two phases. The first from 17th to 20th April 2026 and the second from 25th to 30th April 2026, covering a total duration of 10 days.

With an enthusiastic participation of 335 students (155 boys & 180 girls) across multiple PBGC locations, the camp witnessed great energy and commitment throughout.

From Kabaddi, Hockey, Kho-Kho to Athletics, participants underwent structured daily training under qualified coaches, focusing on skills, fitness, and game strategies.

More than just a sports camp, the initiative focused on building discipline, confidence, teamwork, and discovering hidden talent at the grassroots level.

The camp has been a strong step towards nurturing future champions and strengthening the spirit of sports within our PBGC clubs.

NTT DATA & HOPE foundation Enhance Learning Spaces in the Govt Schools in Chennai
A meaningful step towards better education! NTT DATA, in partnership with HOPE foundation, has enhanced the learning environment in four government schools along Chennai’s OMR belt by providing essential infrastructure like green boards, desks, benches, fans, chairs and cupboards.

Mr. Gopakumar, Vice President, NTT Data Information Processing Services Pvt. Ltd., personally visited the schools on 20th Mar 2026 to hand over these facilities and motivate students. He encouraged them to stay focused, use their time wisely, and make choices that shape a bright future. This initiative reflects a strong commitment to creating equitable learning opportunities for all. Such collaborations play a vital role in strengthening public education and empowering the next generation. 🌱📚

M/s. NTT DATA Powers a Greener Tomorrow at HOPE foundation Matriculation High School, Chennai:
On 27th February 2026, NTT DATA inaugurated the solar panel installation at HOPE foundation Matriculation High School, Chennai marking a significant step toward renewable energy adoption and environmental responsibility on our school campus.The event was graced by Mr. Gopakumar, Vice President – Business Process Outsourcing, and Mr. Biju Thakkyil, Senior Director, along with 30 staff members from NTT DATA. This initiative represents a proud and meaningful chapter in the strong and growing partnership between HOPE foundation and NTT DATA, reflecting a shared commitment to environmental responsibility and long-term impact. Apart from this, in celebration of Global Volunteer Month, the NTT DATA team also engaged students of Classes 7 and 8 in creative activities such as poster and placard making focused on sustainability and environmental awareness. Their enthusiastic participation brought immense joy, motivation and encouragement to the children, making the day truly memorable and meaningful.

Akshaya’s journey from PBGC grounds to the international podium!

Supported by HCLFoundation and implemented by HOPE foundation, Akshaya began her rugby training when she joined the PBGC in Class 8 and is now pursuing her 1st year Bsc. Physical Education and Health Education at Madras Christian College.

She served as the Captain of the Tamil Nadu U18 Rugby Team and was selected to represent India at the 7s U20 Asian Rugby Championship 2025, where the team won a Bronze Medal. Earlier, she also represented India at the U18 Asian Rugby Championship 2023 in Chinese Taipei, Taiwan, securing a Silver Medal.

For her outstanding achievement, she received a ₹5,00,000 incentive from the Sports Development Authority of Tamil Nadu, presented by the Honourable Deputy Chief Minister & Sports Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin.

She has also been selected for the Champion Development Scheme at Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium, where she will receive financial assistance of ₹2,00,000 per year for two years to support her professional training, nutrition, and international exposure.

Inauguration of a Learning Space for the Children of PBGC Avadi!

HOPE foundation proudly inaugurated the newly renovated classroom at the T7 Tank Factory, Avadi Police Boys’ & Girls’ Club supported by HCLFoundation.This upgraded classroom is more than just infrastructure, it is a safe haven where children can come after school to learn, play, receive guidance, and engage in meaningful activities that nurture their confidence, discipline, and aspirations.

It embodies the PBGC vision of creating safe spaces that protect, empower, and enable young minds to thrive.

*Certificate Distribution Ceremony - HOPE Foundation* Chennai

We’re delighted to share that 80 students from Kannagi Nagar successfully completed a Crash Course in Computers, aimed at empowering youth from the Kanniaginagar slum community with essential digital skills.

Today, at HOPE Foundation Matriculation High School- Chennai , 50 students were awarded their certificates in a proud moment of celebration and achievement.

Celebrating Excellence at HOPE foundation Matriculation High School, Chennai!

On June 19th, HOPE foundation Matriculation High School, Chennai proudly honoured 38 academic achievers for the year 2024–25 in a heartfelt Academic Awards Ceremony.

HOPE School was honoured to welcome Ms. Emili Valantina (People Director, Chennai) and Mr. Nareshkumar Boyina (GM India, DBM VIRCON), who were given a warm reception by our Colour Party and welcomed by Ms. Malarvili Prabath the school correspondent.

The event featured a vibrant dance performance by the primary students, a powerful Silambam martial arts demo by our high schoolers, and an inspiring speech by Kaviya of Class IX, who shared her moving journey with the support of our school.

A huge thank you to DBM VIRCON for recognizing our students’ efforts and gifting them uniforms and school supplies!

Your generosity truly made the day extra special.

Principal Mr. S.D. Rozario Maria Selvam closed the ceremony with a warm vote of thanks and a special memento for our guests.

The day ended with pride, gratitude, and a renewed commitment to transforming lives through education.
