The Confederation of Indian Footwear Industries is supposed to induce the future development of footwear industry in India and in fact the development of the economy. We are pleased to share the glimpses of the successful Group participation of CIFI Members under the Indian Pavilion at the Sri Lanka Footwear & Leather Fair 2026, held at BMICH, Colombo, Sri Lanka from Feb 27-28, 1st & 2nd March.

The event provided an excellent platform for showcasing products and strengthening international business relationships. The active involvement and collective efforts of all participants under the leadership of Shri. Alok Jain Ji General Convener- Exhibition organising committee contributed significantly to this success.

We are pleased to share the glimpses of the Secretary, DPIIT, **Shri Amardeep Singh Bhatia ji**, and Joint Secretary, DPIIT, **Ms. Nidhi Kesarwani ji**, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India. visited **Bahadurgarh Footwear Park** and interacted with industry stakeholders to discuss various issues faced by the footwear industry.

The Hon’ble Secretary and Joint Secretary patiently heard the concerns raised and assured their full support to the industry.

Key industry stakeholders from **CIFI, BCCI, and BFDS** present in the meeting included:
Shri Ramesh Dua ji, Shri Raj Kumar Gupta ji, Shri Rajinder Jindal ji, Shri Alok Jain ji, Shri Dharmendra Narula ji, Shri Saurabh Bairathi ji, Shri Govindaraju ji, Shri Saurabh Gupta ji, Shri Pawan Jain ji, along with DPIIT officials.

We are pleased to share the glimpses of CIFI Delegation had a meeting with the Hon’ble Minister of MSME, **Sh. Jitan Ram Manjhi Ji**, to discuss the key issues and concerns of the MSME sector. During the meeting, we also extended an invitation to visit the **FDI Cluster, Bahadurgarh**.

The Hon’ble Minister gave a patient hearing, assured his support in resolving the challenges faced by the MSME sector, and confirmed his forthcoming visit to the **Footwear Park, Bahadurgarh Cluster** in the coming days.
