Unemployed Naga youth perished while hunting for job in distant land cruel heartless city. Have our home became barren land / lack of opportunities for our youth ?
------------------------
Our naga brother who died in Vijayawada dead is on way in ambiance for Hyderabad hospital for embalming the dead body for onward transportation to Dimapur via Kolkata.
Once , embalming is done and certificate of embalming is over than , Helping Hands will book for last journey on earth for his burial in his village in Nagaland in the midst of his loved ones.
No words for Helping Hands volunteer- Suneel Chavali Information Commissioner who went at hospital for assistance.

Its heart breaking that our late naga brother - O. Ekongthung Humtsoe who died before landing into any job at Vijayawada Telengana ...
Another naga meanderer unemployed youth perishing in untimely death while searching for petty job outside Nagaland and Northeast states as job and opportunities seems very rare ....as recent trend of thousands flocking cities even for petty jobs .
Its worrisome trend of unbridle exodus of gullible youth for bread and butter ?

Its for all of us to ponder to stop these massive mindless migration leaving our loved ones back home ...many return in coffins , many die and to be buried / cremenated in cities .
Rest in peace Ekongthung brother
Adieu !

The Mahatma Gandhi Centre, Hong Village , in collaboration with the District Administration of Lower Subansiri, successfully organised a one-day awareness programme on child labour, drug abuse, and skill development on 19 March 2026, under the ongoing Arunachal Rising Campaign.
Held at our centre in Hong, the programme brought together students, educators, community leaders, and civil society representatives to engage in meaningful dialogue on key social issues affecting the district.

Participants included students and faculty from Saint Claret College and Mudo Tamo Memorial College, along with representatives from local organisations, student unions, and traditional institutions.
