EEMA The Event and Entertainment Management Association (EEMA) is India’s apex body for the events and experiential marketing industry.

Representing 1,000+ organizations across 100+ cities, we unite stakeholders to shape the future of the industry. The Event and Entertainment Industry has grown exponentially over the last two decades with several thousand entities operating in this space in various segments and at various levels across over a hundred cities across the country. While there are no accurate estimates of the size of t

his industry, it has been variously estimated at between Rs 2000 crores to Rs 5000 crores with contributions to the exchequer in excess of Rs 500 crores per annum. Sadly enough, there has been no one body that has represented the interests of this industry to Government, corporate industry forums, private and mumicipal licensing bodies, taxation authorities, or even individual clients, vendors or artists. EEMA will do just that – it will be the unified voice of the industry to Government, statutory bodies, taxation authorities and private licensing bodies and will seek to protect its members' interests in all these fora. It will also seek to lay down professional standards of management and interface between its members and clients, vendors and artists across the country. It will also be a repository of knowledge for its members in terms of providing a databank on venues, artists and vendors and advising its members on safety standards, employee codes of conduct and best practices of the industry. It will also seek to constantly upgrade skills and knowledge levels of its members by organizing training programmes, seminars and interface with international and local industry stalwarts.

A creative force who believes that culture is the most powerful bridge between nations, she has spent her career translating India’s rich heritage into a global language.

Tanuja Shankar Khan currently represents India as a *Cultural Diplomat in Budapest*, a role that serves as the culmination of a lifelong journey rooted in academia and the arts. Raised in an environment that celebrated theater, music, and media, she carries the intellectual legacy of her Patna roots onto the world stage.

Her professional odyssey began as a lecturer at the prestigious *Patna Women’s College, before she moved to the heart of India’s media landscape.

From directing and producing high impact documentaries for top television channels to serving as a Channel Advisor for Doordarshan National and Creative Director at BAG Films & Media, Tanuja has been at the forefront of India's storytelling revolution.

A versatile creator, she has penned scripts for films like Music Meri Jaan and recently authored her debut novel, Flames Of Paradise, proving that her creative expression knows no bounds.

With over 15 years of experience in live events and entertainment, Aastha Sharma is known for delivering high impact productions with sharp ex*****on, creative clarity, and meticulous attention to detail.
