Every child deserves a childhood filled with learning, play, and opportunities.
On this World Day Against Child Labour, we reaffirm our commitment to ensuring that every child can access quality education, develop their potential, and grow up in a safe and nurturing environment.
Despite global progress, millions of children continue to be engaged in child labour, depriving them of their fundamental rights and limiting their future opportunities. Ending child labour requires collective action from governments, communities, families, civil society, and the private sector.
At Humana People to People India, we work alongside communities to promote education, strengthen livelihoods, and foster supportive conditions that enable children to thrive, learn, and remain in school.

As Humana People to People, we are marking World Environment Day 2026 with urgency and purpose.
The reality is clear. According to the United Nations and Food and Agriculture Organisation, “3.1 billion people cannot afford a healthy diet, and 600 million people fall ill every year from unsafe food,” while climate change continues to erode the very systems that sustain life.
These are not distant statistics. They reflect the daily realities of the communities we work with.
We act where it matters, strengthening community-led farming, improving safe food practices, and building resilient local systems.
Safe food and a healthy environment are non-negotiable. We must .

Through the Holistic Rural Development Project, , implemented by HPPI in partnership with HDFC Bank Parivartan, farmers are adopting sustainable agriculture practices that improve livelihoods while protecting the environment.

During the financial year 2025–26:
👨‍🌾 1,114 farmers gained practical knowledge on soil health management, natural pest control, organic inputs, and climate-resilient farming methods.
🌾 407 demonstration plots for paddy, vegetables, and wheat were established across 258.92 acres, promoting chemical-free farming.
🥬 152 Nutri Gardens were developed improving household nutrition security.
🌱 200 Vermicompost units were established, producing organic manure to support soil health and crop productivity.
☀️ 11 community based solar irrigation systems across 10 villages are enabling 209 small and marginal farmers to access reliable, climate-friendly irrigation.
