Chehel

A community project run by students & volunteers, aiming to empower non-privileged by education. We at Chehel don’t pretend to be experts at this. P.S.

Chehel is a community project: one community being the children we want to impact, those living in slums; the other community being you and I, your parents, and friends, and teachers, and aunts and uncles, ministers, other NGO workers, celebrities... anyone, really ANYONE who’s committed to the cause. We're qualified just as much or, in all probability, less than you. But we are committed. Committed to the cause. And that’s the only qualification you need to meet to be a part of Chehel. If you work, the project works. After all, it’s a community project! It begins with YOU! There’re no constraints regarding how far away you live or the amount of time you can’t give. If you’d like to help at all, there’s work to do.

CHEHEL TURNS 16! ✨
16 years ago, a small beginning was made with a dream to create a space where every child gets the opportunity to learn, grow, and follow their dreams.

Over the years, that small dream has grown into a beautiful journey and a wonderful community filled with learning, laughter, happiness, and countless memories.

Every child’s smile, every volunteer’s contribution, and every little memory has played a special part in bringing Chehel this far.

Here’s to 16 beautiful years of memories, growth, and making a difference and to many more wonderful years ahead!
🎂 Happy 16th Birthday, Chehel! 💛

Chehel at Kiran Nadar Museum of Arts🎨

It was a day filled with new learnings about the paintings, the history of how they were created and the Artist. Our children showed keen interest in arts by observing and exploring every corner of it. Later they themselves prepared some pieces of art showcasing a marvelous creativity, finally ending with a jamming session✨️

A special thank you to for giving us this wonderful opportunity to explore the beauty and grace of ART. Our children really enjoyed exploring stories through paintings and sculptures🌟

Finally, it was a great experience filled with learing, curiosity and unforgettable memories🌻

This Eid was more than a celebration, it was a moment to share the true essence of the festival with our children. Through laughter, conversations and togetherness, we spoke about kindness, gratitude, and caring for one another.🌼

With every smile and every shared moment, the day turned into something truly special, reminding us that the real joy of Eid lies in connection, compassion, and the happiness we create together.🌙💛
