India China Economic and Cultural Council (ICEC), established in 2003, is the first formal and Not-for–Profit organization, to enhance economic and cultural cooperation between India and China. Its activities range from research, policy advocacy, seminars, conferences, cultural events, exhibitions, government and business delegations, B2B meetings, industry reports, entry strategy and business fac
ilitation both the countries. ICEC governing board comprises of luminaries from different walks of life such as politicians, bureaucrats, technocrats, academicians, journalists and businessmen from India and China. Although, ICEC is a non-government organization but it works in close cooperation with the Governments of both the countries and its affiliate institutions such as Embassies; CPC; Provincial Governments, Investment Promotion Agencies; Industry associations, Export Promotion Councils; Government Cultural Organizations etc. and with the corporate such as Tata; Wipro; Huawei; ZTE, TBEA, NIIT etc. Over the decade, the Council has organized number of Policy discussions; Business Summits; Cultural Events and exchange of high level delegations which have contributed immensely towards enhancing India-China cooperation. Through its existence of over a decade ICEC has developed immense understanding of business and cultural environment in India China. Through its in-house research and business facilitation over the years ICEC’s has acquired in-depth knowledge of economy and business and a unique network with local governments, institutions and relevant authorities in India and china. ICEC is one of the most active organizations to facilitate Chinese business for “Make in India” and “OBOR” programs. Headquartered in New Delhi, ICEC has Representative offices in various cities in India and China like Beijing, Shanghai; Guangzhou, Chengdu, Hong Kong, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Chennai and Bangalore.
