Ecotryst, the Economics Society of SGTB Khalsa College was founded with the aim to create awareness amongst the budding economists and help them broaden their horizon. Since then, the society has been an arena for the ideas, knowledge and opinions of the students. The aim is to provide unconventional means of education so that Economics is not limited to books or examinations. This is the reason

that every year Ecotryst organizes events such as Conclaves, Field trips and an Annual Festival where more than 800+ students from 100+ colleges participate, and more importantly LEARN. The society has also been issuing its Annual Magazine, E-Quest, since 1999 with the motive to merge facts and humor. Ecotryst enables students and teachers to join hands and work as a team for a better and practical apprehension of Economics.
