Lost! Amphibians of India

Lost! Amphibians of India The search to find the lost amphibians of India is on! Lost! It was launched on November 2, 2010 in Delhi.

Join teams of scientists over the coming months as they search for 50 species not seen in at least 18 years - some not seen for as many as 169 years! Amphibians of India is an initiative coordinated by the University of Delhi, IUCN/SSC Amphibian Specialist Group, Conservation International, Global Wildlife Conservation and the Natural History Museum of London. The goal is to rediscover around 50 "lost" species of amphibian, not seen for between 18 and 169 years!
