The ' Caregiver' Effect on ABC ! Through rain and sunshine, they are committed to getting their dogs sterilised and vaccinated. They bring accountability, so much love and effort to this work. Animal welfare in India would be transformed if we included them in every program.

Now don't laugh. He conducts meetings, addresses volunteers, sneers at the team if he doesn't approve of how something is being done.
Now you please be careful when you visit the centre. If he likes you and what you are wearing , he will raise his leg lovingly and mark you 😅. He loves skirts and dresses, pyjamas particularly.
Try restraining him against his will - his disappearing acts and abilities to scale walls and tangle your legs would put magicians and acrobats to shame.
But after all his adventures for the day are done, it's to his home he returns , without fail, every single day, by his own choice.
This loyalty and friendship has earned him the respect of every dog and human at neighbourhood woof. If there is a canine we'd place at the head of the table, He wouldn't leave us a choice 😄

We couldn't afford to wire this section during our last renovation, and we're still stretched thin. Yesterday, 6 dogs found their way back home at Majnu Ka Tilla.

This release was made possible in collaboration with Yamuna Khimtsang Foundation and the incredible team of the organisation — who have been quietly doing extraordinary work in the area for years.

Sonam has personally been responsible for getting hundreds of dogs sterilised and vaccinated at our centre, and runs daily feeding drives to make sure the community's dogs never go hungry.

And the generosity doesn't stop at dogs — Sonam and team also work to provide meals to underprivileged and marginalised children in and around MKT.

In times like these, it's people like Sonam who remind us what making a real difference actually looks like. Thank you for everything you do.
