Gender equality isn’t just a goal. It’s the foundation for real economic growth in Asia.

To drive that transformation, we need leaders who know how to move capital and open doors. That’s why we are excited to welcome Reshma Anand to the AVPN Global Conference 2026 in New Delhi!

As Regional Director at the Ford Foundation for India, Sri Lanka, and Nepal, Reshma brings nearly 30 years of experience across philanthropy, big corporate foundations (Hindustan Unilever Foundation, Tata Trusts), and social enterprise. An Aspen and TED Fellow, she has spent her career championing responsible philanthropy, inclusive economic growth, and mentorship for young women leaders.

At the Conference, Reshma will join an intimate, curated session on advancing gender equality across Asia. Funders and ecosystem leaders will dive into practical strategies for scaling capital for women’s economic empowerment and bridging funding gaps through cross-sector collaboration.

How do you protect over 20 million children from Child Sexual Abuse (CSA)? You build a movement that changes systems from the ground up.

When Pooja Taparia founded Arpan, addressing CSA was a deeply taboo, unspoken issue in many parts of the world. Today, under her leadership, Arpan has transformed into a globally recognised non-profit, scaling a multi-stakeholder ecosystem that combines grassroots education, specialised counselling, and nationwide education and policy integration.

At the AVPN Global Conference 2026, we continue spotlighting stories of people creating meaningful impact across Asia through our Inspired Asians series.

Know someone doing inspiring and meaningful work? We’d love to hear their story.

Tag them and tell us why in the comments.

USD 200 billion over the next two decades.

That is the commitment Mark Suzman is guiding as CEO of the Gates Foundation to ensure no mother or child dies of a preventable cause, deadly infectious diseases are eradicated, and millions are lifted out of poverty.

With a career spanning journalism in apartheid South Africa, high-level policy at the United Nations under Kofi Annan, and nearly two decades at the Gates Foundation, Mark brings an extraordinary depth of experience in tackling systemic inequality at scale.

We are thrilled to host Mark at the AVPN Global Conference 2026 in New Delhi, where he will share insights on strategic philanthropy, global partnerships, and deploying capital for maximum long-term impact.
