Vanita Samaj is a unique organization of Marathi women in New Delhi. its main aim is to bring together all the Marathi speaking women who are from the different fields in the capital city New Delhi and enable them to nurture social and cultural traditions. Every year we organize social, educational and cultural programs and also conduct discussions on many subjects in order to encourage the member

s of the Vanita Samaj. The organization has more than 350 members at present. We have our own building in the central location Lodhi colony, New Delhi. Our Projects

- Education- We run an elementary school for poor children. We provide them meals, free books and uniforms to the needy and medical check up.

- Library- Well maintained, containing more than 5000 books.

- Marriage bureau for the members of the community in Delhi and NCR which is a very useful and necessary activity.

- We also organize various programs for women like talks by doctors and Philanthropists like Dr. Prakash Amte, Rani Bang on women related issues, talks on legal matters, health, hygiene, child development and to encourage cultural talent.

- Counseling for women and children.

- Samaj always takes leading positions in providing help during natural disasters such as earthquake and tsunami.
