The idea of establishing a club for the benefit of residents of New Friends Colony and neighbouring areas took root under the visionary leadership of Late Mr. Harish Kapoor (Hon. Secretary), and Mr. Sehgal (Treasurer), along with 18 other Founder Members, the club was successfully registered under the Societies Act in 1989. Securing land from the D.D.A was a monu
mental task, but once achieved,Mr. Som Sharma of Organic India was appointed as the architect. Construction began in 1991, overcoming numerous challenges, including building approvals, financial constraints, and legal battles. By 1993, the grand five-story clubhouse was complete, and in January 1994, New Friends Club opened its doors. From Humble Beginnings to a Premier Institution
Initially offering a restaurant, bar, card room, and lounge, New Friends Club has evolved into a premier establishment featuring:

Under the visionary leadership of President Mr. Anil Datta, New Friends Club has expanded its offerings to include state-of-the-art facilities like a Gym, Snooker / Billiards,Olympic-standard shooting range, Golf, Squash, A bowling alley, and the soon-to-be-launched Padel tennis court. Our latest addition, the Private Dining Room (PDR) at The Patio, offers an elegant fine-dining experience for intimate gatherings and special occasions. The club also boasts:
