The Rotaract Initiative
The Rotaract Initiative came to DPSRU on 2nd August 2019, when Rotarians of Rotary Club Delhi Central came to our University and over 200 students of different courses got to interact with them. Interested students began enrolling soon afterwards in huge numbers as the chartering process for our club started in the same month.
Ankit Monga became the Charter President of Rotaract Club of DPSRU on 11th August 2019. Our Club Charter arrived on 22nd October 2019.
During the chartering process, we as a charter club got a head start on functioning as a club, including ideating, brainstorming, planning and executing many activities and projects. We conducted two meetings with future Rotaractors for nominating the Board of Directors for 2019-20. Our first Board Meeting took place on 11th September 2019.
Since then, we have undertaken and completed a number of projects. We also collaborated with our parent club for organizing and volunteering in Health Camps, Blood Donation and so on. By 20th September we officially enrolled 100 students as members of our charter club.
