All India Democratic Women's Association Democracy, Equality, Emancipation of Women There has been an effort to identify the effects of policies, movements and disparate trends on women.

As the largest women's organisation in the country, AIDWA has tried to address issues related to women from varied sections of society. The organization has relentlessly tried to mainstream issues affecting different sections of women differently by bringing all sections unitedly into the movement for equality. Today its membership is more than 1 crore, 20 lakhs, with a vast majority being drawn from the underprivileged and marginalized sections of society.

Activists of the All India Democratic Women's Association and the Students' Federation of India organized a march to the protest site at Bairamangala, Karnataka on Monday, expressing solidarity with farmers and women farmers opposing the proposed Bidadi Township project.

The protesters alleged that the project would lead to the acquisition of fertile irrigated agricultural land in the Bairamangala–Kanchagaranahalli Gram Panchayat area, threatening the livelihoods of local farming communities. Addressing the gathering, AIDWA and SFI leaders demanded that the government withdraw the township project and immediately halt the land acquisition process, describing the scheme as anti-farmer and detrimental to the region's agrarian economy.
