Grand International Women’s Day Celebration Held in Hyderabad
25 Women Social Leaders Honored; Strong Push for Women Entrepreneurship in Electric Mobility

The International Federation of Electric Vehicle Association (IFEVA), in collaboration with the Agrawal Samaj Telangana chapter and Varcas Automobile, successfully organized a grand celebration of International Women’s Day in Hyderabad.
The prestigious event witnessed enthusiastic participation from more than 150 women and 50 men, creating a vibrant platform dedicated to women empowerment, social leadership, and the promotion of green mobility.
The program was graced by Hon’ble Kondru Pushpaleela, Ex-Minister of Social Welfare, Andhra Pradesh, as the Chief Guest. In a significant highlight of the event, she felicitated 25 distinguished and socially impactful women who have made exemplary contributions to society through their dedication and service. The awards recognized their outstanding efforts in uplifting communities and driving meaningful social change.
Adding further prominence to the occasion, Dr. Shailendra Saroj, Founder and Governing Council Member of IFEVA, specially visited Hyderabad to strengthen the organization’s presence in the region and to promote the leadership of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh President Shri Ram Vemireddy. His visit underscored IFEVA’s commitment to expanding its mission across southern India.
The event was also honored by the presence of retired Deputy Commissioner of Police Badrinath, Hyderabad President, IFEVA, whose participation added dignity and encouragement to the gathering. Numerous IPF members were present and extended their full support to the mission of advancing sustainable and green mobility.
During the program, Shri Ram Vemireddy, Director of Varcas Automobile and President for Telangana & Andhra Pradesh, delivered a comprehensive presentation highlighting the company’s vision, vehicle models, quality standards, and technological advancements. The CEO of Varcas Automobile further elaborated on attractive financing schemes aimed at making electric vehicles more accessible and encouraging women to explore dealership opportunities.
The response from participants was overwhelmingly positive. Several women booked electric vehicles during the event, and many expressed strong interest in dealership opportunities by submitting application forms on the same day. The initiative successfully combined social recognition with economic empowerment and sustainable transportation advocacy.
The celebration received strong support from the leadership of Agrawal Samaj Telangana Chapter. Seema Jain, Joint Secretary, extended active and wholehearted cooperation to IFEVA, while Anirudh Gupta President of the chapter, assured long-term collaboration and reaffirmed commitment toward strengthening the relationship with IFEVA for future initiatives.
The event concluded with heartfelt gratitude to the people of Hyderabad, Telangana for their overwhelming support. IFEVA reiterated its dedication to promoting electric mobility and encouraged its members across regions to organize similar impactful activities, assuring full organizational support in every possible manner.
