We are implementing a quality healthcare programme, 'Empowering Care through Technology,' which aims to provide Tuberculosis (TB) diagnostic equipment at the district hospital in Haryana, a CSR initiative of .
India bears the highest global burden of tuberculosis (TB), accounting for approximately 26–27% of worldwide cases. Although the incidence rate has decreased by 21% to 187 per lakh population by 2024, TB continues to pose a substantial public health challenge with high mortality rates. Primary factors contributing to this challenge include poverty, malnutrition, overcrowding, and comorbidities such as diabetes and HIV. The nation is actively pursuing TB elimination through expanded, nationwide screening and treatment initiatives.
As part of the CSR initiative, we provided comprehensive support for Truenat Machines designated for TB diagnosis at the district hospital in Haryana. This effort aims to improve early and accurate diagnosis, thereby facilitating the timely management of TB cases in high-burden districts. Additionally, capacity building and practical training were provided to laboratory technicians and relevant healthcare personnel on machine operations, biosafety protocols, troubleshooting, and reporting procedures via .
Together, we reaffirm our commitment towards a TB-free India.
