A Heartfelt Tribute to Rafi Sahab — 25 July 2026
A Memorable Evening in the Loving Memory of Rafi Sahab,
The Rafi Foundation Memorial Society once again organised its annual live musical tribute to the legendary playback singer Mohammed Rafi Sahab on 25 July 2026 at Mavlankar Auditorium, New Delhi, with great zeal, enthusiasm and affection.
The evening was made even more special by the gracious presence of Mrs. Yasmin, daughter of Rafi Sahab, and her husband, Mr. Parvez Ahmed, the Chief Patrons of the Rafi Foundation Memorial Society. Their continued support and presence have been a source of encouragement for the Society and Rafi admirers year after year.
All the participating singers gave performances that lived up to the expectations of the audience. Each song was received with warmth and appreciation, making the evening a truly enjoyable celebration of Rafi Sahab's immortal music.
The audience at our programmes has always been known for its dignity, warmth and appreciation. Once again, they responded to every performance with heartfelt applause, encouraging the singers after each and every song. Their enthusiasm and affection for Rafi Sahab's music made the atmosphere particularly special.
We at the Rafi Foundation Memorial Society sincerely thank our regular audience for turning up in such full strength despite the various restrictions and disturbances around the event venue. Your continued love, support and presence inspire us to keep bringing more such musical evenings to Rafi Sahab's admirers.
Our heartfelt gratitude goes to every singer, musician, supporter, volunteer and, above all, every member of the audience who helped make this evening a memorable one.
Let the melody of Rafi Sahab continue to live forever in our hearts.
Long Live Rafi Sahab! 🎶❤️
