Project Aahar Project Aahar is a not-for-profit endeavor that seeks to uplift the socio-economic conditions of th

Project Aahar established in 2018 was initiated to uplift the conditions of the struggling farmers of India, the project currently work in two verticals one being Farm to Fork and the other being the application of modern farming techniques to help boost the income of the famers. The main aim behind the Farm to Fork initiative is to link the farming communities directly with their consumers, ther

eby eliminating the middlemen in the process. Farm to Fork presently focuses on three kinds of business models:
In the first, the farming community is provided help in setting up stalls in various residential apartments across Dwarka, New Delhi. The second model comprises executing deals between a few startups and the farmers and the last one deals with on-demand online customer orders delivered directly to their doorstep using our e-platform which benefits both farmers and consumers equally. While consumers get fresh vegetables delivered at their doorstep, the farmers also benefit by getting an opportunity to sell their produce to the consumers which allow them to get a fairer price for their produce than what they would get from a middleman. The team also gives some basic management and soft skill training to the farmer and his family. Project Aahar is currently also working towards teaching and equipping our farmers with modern farming techniques by providing them with the skill and the setup to go crops via hydroponics under the able guidance from scientists at ICAR and research scholars at NSUT.
