Author of the Model Law on Right to Privacy, Director of World Anti Voyeurism Forum, Well known Privacy and Transparency Law Reformer and Advocate Mr. Dhyananjay Madwanna, re-appeared on DD National TV in the live DD Morning Show - Legal Eagle segment on 27 January 2026 at 8:00–9:00 am , where he spoke on Voyeurism and Data Privacy.

The programme was re-broadcast on DD Bharati TV the same day from 9:00–10:00 am.

He joined the show online from Sangli, Maharashtra.

What is Voyeurism? - Explained Simply by Dhruv Rathee

Voyeurism is not always sexual.
In its general sense, it reflects a human tendency to peek into others’ private lives for curiosity, entertainment or emotional thrill.

Popular reality shows like Bigg Boss turn this tendency into a business model, where constant surveillance, humiliation, emotional breakdowns and conflicts are packaged as entertainment, thereby encouraging vo**uristic behaviour and even collective sa**sm.

This short video explains the dark reality of commercialised vo**urism and how society is being conditioned to enjoy watching others being watched.

📌 Awareness is the first step towards protecting privacy. The World Anti Voyeurism Forum (WAVF), an NGO dedicated to privacy protection, is raising awareness beyond the narrow sexual definition of vo**urism, because peeping into someone’s personal life without consent, regardless of motive, is vo**urism.

Team WAVF had a memorable evening meeting with Shri Jayant Pawar Ji at Solaris Sports & Fitness Club, Kothrud, Pune, on 29th September 2025.

Shri Jayant Pawar Ji, the proprietor of and a family member of NCP leaders Shri Sharad Pawar Ji and Shri Ajitdada Pawar Ji, graciously interacted with the team.

During the meeting, he thoroughly went through the book titled “You Are Being Secretly Watched with Model Law on Privacy”, authored by Advocate Dhyananjay Madwanna and published by the World Anti Voyeurism Forum (WAVF).
