The Institute for Research in Education and Social Transformation (IREST) held its first Founding Members Board meeting on 14th April 2026 in New Delhi, marking an important step towards shaping its vision and roadmap. The discussion centered on key priorities including the empowerment of vulnerable communities, promotion of evidence-based research, and strengthening interventions in education, livelihood, health, and nutrition.

The team also emphasized the importance of financial and digital literacy, along with environmental awareness and sustainable development as core areas of focus.
