It is with great pleasure that we note that the Dattopant Thengadi Foundation has signed a MoU with the Nalanda University. Sh. Virjesh Upadhyay - DG, DTF and Dr. Sachin Chaturvedi, Vice Chancellor of Nalanda University signed the Memorendum of behalf of the respective institutions.

Sh. B. Surendran Ji All India organising secretay rBharatiya Mazdoor Sangh was also present along side Sh. R K Parihar Ji, Registrar of the University. Faculty from both institutions joined the singing ceremony and discussed the modalities of the MoU.

With this the two institutions are set to work collaboratively in the domain of Indian knowledge systems aligning with labour & economy. We look forward to positive research and dissemination in coming times.

Sh. Girish Arya Ji, Mentor of Dattopant Thengadi Foundation joined the conference titled "Navigating Growth and Development in Global Unceratin Times" organised by ki Soch. Lumaniries like Sh. Ram Madhav of India Foundation Sh. DInesh Trivedi, SH. M J Akbar, Sh. TCA Raghavan and Sh. Anil Rajput spoke at length on different issues.
The conference was organised to discuss India's ancient wisdom and how it can be used in contemporary times. We at Dattopant Thengadi Foundation are also deeply involved in this exercise - specially in the labour and economics sector. Sh. Arya informed the luminaries about our ongoing efforts.

Today as we commemorate Dattopant Ji on his death anniversary, let's be inspired the great desires the man held in his heart and dedicated his life to.

Today as the modern world struggles with the challenges of over exploitation of resources, mechanisation, automation & just transition, let's remember that the solutions lies not in deriving new theories but in ancient wisdom coupled with contemporary action. In the acceptance of the truth that it's human that stands in the centre of it all and economy is a function of human interaction and not that human is a component in the economic cycle. Economy, finance and institutions thereof are tools not goals. machines are to help people, ease their burden, not to instruct or rule them. Man has to manage the machine and the opposite of it can't and shouldn't be accepted. Algorithms should help workers, not stand as an invisible wall between people.

Only joint and collective action by all stakeholders can guarantee a human centric future and hence we all must think as one.

Kudos to the Ministry of Labour and Employment, Government of India for preparing the draft Labour and Employment Policy Document - the Shram Shakti Niti 2025. It is the first time that India's civilisation wisdom and ethics have been made part of a labour policy document. We congratulate the government on this historic step.

It is currently open for suggestions/consultations until 27 September 2025. Trade Union must take this opportunity to ensure a well designed labour & employment policy suitable to the changing world of work.
