🌟 Creating Pathways to Entrepreneurship through Project SAMARTH! 🌟

Under Project SAMARTH, supported by Bajaj Finserv, IDEA conducted a Pre-EDP Orientation Session with 25 Persons with Disabilities at the IDEA Office in Dwarka, South West Delhi.

The session introduced participants to the Entrepreneurship Development Program (EDP) and encouraged them to explore entrepreneurship, build sustainable livelihoods, and move towards greater economic independence.

Through SAMARTH, we are working to create opportunities, strengthen entrepreneurial capabilities, and support Persons with Disabilities in turning their aspirations into sustainable enterprises. 💙💜

🌍 IDEA at the 4th Global Inclusion Summit & Awards 2026

We are proud to share that Mallikarjuna Iytha, Founder & CEO, Inclusive Divyangjan Entrepreneur Association (IDEA), will be part of the distinguished panel at “The Architecture of Belonging.”

From accessibility audits and awareness drives to community participation and on-ground action, every step has brought us closer to our vision of building Delhi as India’s first fully accessible Purple City.

This milestone is not just about one year — it is about the people, partnerships and collective efforts that are making accessibility a movement. 🤝

One Entrepreneur. 12 Women. One Bigger Dream. ✨

Meet Sonia, an entrepreneur with a disability and the proud founder of Radha Krishna Handicrafts. What began as a personal passion for crochet and handcrafted jewelry has transformed into a thriving enterprise that provides sustainable livelihoods for 12 other women in her Self-Help Group (SHG).

With support from IDEA—including two grants and multiple exhibition opportunities—Sonia has expanded her market reach and built a business generating ₹20,000 – ₹25,000 monthly, uplifting an entire community alongside her. 🎨💼

Her success isn't just measured by what she earns, but by the opportunities she creates for others.
