NIT Delhi Celebrates National Youth Day in Honor of Swami Vivekananda’s Birth Anniversary!

In honor of Swami Vivekananda’s birth anniversary, NIT Delhi , in collaboration with the , hosted a vibrant celebration on National Youth Day. The event began with the lighting of the lamp to Mata Saraswati, symbolizing wisdom, in the presence of Director, Prof. (Dr.) Ajay K Sharma , Registrar, Prof. (Dr.) Hitesh Sharma, Think India Faculty Coordinator, Dr. Kapil Sharma , and Chief Guest, Sh. Ashwani Sharma ( ).

• Director, Prof. (Dr.) Ajay K Sharma highlighted the significance of National Youth Day, urging students to embrace Swami Vivekananda’s teachings. Registrar, Prof. (Dr.) Hitesh Sharma inspired the audience with insights into Swami Vivekananda’s life and global influence, while Chief Guest, Sh. Ashwani Sharma, encouraged students to implement Swami ji’s messages for societal change. A token of appreciation was presented to the Chief Guest by the Director and Registrar. The Think India Delhi team had an incredible experience at the Think India Convention 2024, held at IIT Roorkee from 21st to 23rd December 2024.

Highlights of the 3-Day Convention:
• A serene spiritual visit to Rishikesh
• Thought-provoking sessions with inspiring leaders
• A celebration of Uttarakhand’s rich culture through traditional dance and food

We are pleased to announce that Hon’ble Justice G.R. Swaminathan, Judge, Madras High Court, will grace the 8th National Symposium on Landmark Judgments of 2024 as the Chief Guest for the Inaugural Session scheduled on 5th January 2025 from 10:00 AM onwards.

This year, the symposium will focus on notable cases such as the AMU Judgment Case, Private Property Case, Electoral Bonds Case, and Regulating Industrial Alcohol Case.
