CivicHelp and Progress Foundation (called as Chap foundation in short) is a nonprofit organization working in diverse areas including livelihood of handloom workers, improving tourism in less explored places, education and environment care. The decrease in travel and tourism has had an overriding effect on the handloom industry and education of children. The closure of schools have diminished pe
rsonality development of young minds and limited them to domestic environment. The veracity of this gap may not be evident today, but it will be when these children become decision makers. With limited access to resources and knowledge, their families are not equipped to bridge this deficit. The Ministry of Education and Central Board of Secondary Education has made conscious efforts to provide support by introducing ‘the model of learning enhancement for students not possessing any digital device’ and others. While this support mechanism is doing its own bit, there is need for more help. Through our intervention, we aim to improve the present scenario.
