1. Neglect of Public Interest Private owners will prioritize profit-making. Environmental protection, biodiversity, and the rights of indigenous communities will become secondary concerns. ๐ŸŒŽ
2. Threat to Biodiversity Companies may convert forests for commercial use (such as resorts, mining, or plantations). This will harm the natural biodiversity.
3. Displacement of Poor and Indigenous Communities People who depend on forests (for wood, fruits, medicine, and water) may be removed from these areas. Their traditional rights will be violated.
4. Crisis of Access Common citizens may lose access to forests, rivers, lakes, and mountains. The idea of "everyone's right to natural resources" could disappear.
5. Hidden Damage In the absence of transparency, private companies may engage in illegal logging, poaching, or pollution. Public scrutiny and media oversight could become weaker.
6. Difficulty in Combating Climate Change Implementing global environmental policies (such as the Paris Agreement) could become challenging if natural resources are in private hands. ๐ŸŒ๐ŸŒฟ
