Unsung India is a platform that brings out stories of real-life heroes about Indians who have proved their mettle and left global footprints and carved out a niche for India. We scroll through Instagram reels and Youtube videos looking for inspiration, a story that can propel you towards the goal that you have pushed to the backseat. They don’t wear capes and maybe the man or a woman sitting next

to you in the metro has made the country proud but the lack of glamour makes their story forgettable.

The Unsung India Foundation presents the inspiring story of Raghvendra and Krishna, two close friends with dreams of growing together. A tragic road accident took Krishna's life because he wasn't wearing a helmet, shattering Raghvendra's dreams. Determined to prevent such tragedies, Raghvendra quit his job and vowed to distribute helmets to riders without one. Known as the Helmet Man of India, his mission to promote road safety, especially among children, has been unwaveringly supported by his wife and parents. To date, he has donated 60,000 helmets across 22 states, saving countless lives.

🥭 Meet the legendary Haji Kalimullah Khan — proudly known as the “Mango Man of India” 🇮🇳

From the mango capital of Malihabad near Lucknow, this extraordinary horticulturist created 300+ mango varieties on a single tree using advanced mango grafting techniques. 🌳✨

Despite leaving school after 7th standard, he transformed Indian agriculture with innovation, dedication, and passion. His unique mango varieties are named after icons like Sachin Tendulkar, Aishwarya Rai, Narendra Modi, Amit Shah, Sonia Gandhi, and Akhilesh Yadav. 🥭

One of his most famous creations — the Anarkali Mango — has different layers of pulp and distinct flavors, making it one of the most unique mangoes in India.

His remarkable contribution to horticulture and fruit breeding earned him the prestigious Padma Shri award in 2008. 🙌
