7 April 2026 ,A delegation from the All Ladakh Student Welfare Association Jammu ALSWAJ) paid a visit to the Office of the Representative of the Supreme Leader in India in New Delhi to express their condolences and solidarity.

The delegation included the President and Sports Secretary of( ALSWAJ), Muzaffar Nabeel and Muhammad Shareefy, along with Mukhtar Hussain (Head Organizer) and Irfan Hussain (Cashier) of the All Ladakh Muslim Student Association Jammu, (ALMSAJ)which serves as an ad-hoc committee responsible for organizing religious programs and activities.

During the visit, the delegation presented a formal letter of condolence to Ayatollah Dr. Majid Hakim Ilahi, the Honorable Representative of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran in India. The members of the delegation conveyed their deep sympathy and respect while expressing solidarity with the leadership and community.

As a gesture of unity and support, the delegation also handed over a donation of ₹1,30,880 (One Lakh Thirty Thousand Eight Hundred Eighty Rupees). This contribution was collected from students and supporters and was officially submitted at the office representing Ayatollah al-Uzma Sayyid Ali Khamenei, the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

The representatives stated that such initiatives reflect the commitment of Ladakhi students toward humanitarian values, religious unity, and community service. They further emphasized their dedication to continuing welfare activities and strengthening bonds among students and the wider community.

The meeting concluded with prayers for peace, unity, and well-being for the Muslim Ummah around the world.

Subject: Request for Grant of 5-Year Age Relaxation in Upcoming Sub-Inspector and Constable Recruitment
Respected Sir,
We, on behalf of the All Ladakh Student Welfare Association, Jammu, respectfully submit this representation regarding the forthcoming recruitment for the posts of Sub-Inspector and Constable in the Union Territory of Ladakh.
It is humbly submitted that no recruitment for these posts has been conducted since 2019. Due to this prolonged gap, a large number of eligible and deserving candidates have now crossed the prescribed upper age limit, despite their continuous preparation and aspiration to serve in the Ladakh Police. Many of these candidates are students who have dedicated crucial years of their academic and professional lives in preparation for such opportunities. It is also noted that the UT Home Department has issued Notification No. 106/Home/2024, granting a 2-year age relaxation for Sub-Inspector and all other Constable recruitments, which sets a precedent for similar consideration in the
upcoming Ladakh Police recruitment. However, a minimum of 5-year age relaxation is requested, as this recruitment is being conducted after a 7-year gap, and many aspirants are hoping to avail this opportunity.
Furthermore, the prevailing employment scarcity in the region has limited opportunities for youth. In such circumstances, the delay in recruitment has added to uncertainty and frustration among aspirants, depriving them of a fair chance to compete.
In light of the above, we earnestly request your kind consideration to grant age relaxation of up to five (05) years for the upcoming Sub-Inspector and Constable recruitments. This will ensure equity, restore confidence among aspirants, and provide a fair opportunity to all those affected by the delay.
We sincerely hope that this genuine concern of the students and unemployed youth will receive your kind and sympathetic consideration.

The purpose of this press conference by ALSWAJ is to highlight a serious ongoing issue. For the past 6 months, Kargil Boys Hostel Jammu has been regularly paying its monthly fees, yet not a single rupee in maintenance funds has been received from the Kargil Administration.
This delay is causing significant hardships for the students. ALSWAJ earnestly requests the Kargil Administration to resolve this matter at the earliest, ensuring no further inconvenience to students at the hostel.

On the Martyrdom of Rehbar-e-Moazzam Ayatollah Syed Ali Khamenei (R.A)

On behalf of the All Ladakh Student Welfare Association Jammu (ALSWAJ),

we express our profound grief and heartfelt condolences on the martyrdom
of Rehbar-e-Moazzam, Ayatollah Syed Ali Khamenei (R.A).

His departure is a tremendous loss to the Muslim Ummah. He stood as a
symbol of resilience, wisdom, and unwavering commitment to justice.

Throughout his life, he consistently stood firm and insisted on the unity of
Islam in the face of tyrant regimes across the world. His voice was never
confined to borders; it echoed wherever oppression existed. His lifelong
struggle for the dignity of the oppressed and his steadfast leadership will
remain a source of inspiration for generations to come.
We have lost a visible guide, but we remain under the guardianship of our
Leader in Ghaybah, Imam Al-Mahdi (ATFJ). The world may assume we are
leaderless, yet we believe our Leader lives — unseen, awaited, and closer
than we imagine.
In this moment of sorrow, ALSWAJ stands in solidarity with all those
mourning this immense loss. We pray that Almighty Allah grants him the
highest ﻣﻘﺎم in Jannat-ul-Firdaus and bestows patience, strength, and unity
upon the Muslim Ummah. May his martyrdom become a means of
strengthening unity among Muslims.
