🌸 Normalizing Conversations Around Periods 🌸

We went to SKCF and conducted a Menstruation Awareness & Pad Distribution Drive in collaboration with LongLeap and GWC Organization.

Our goal was simple—to create a safe space for children to openly talk about menstruation. Together, we discussed common myths and facts, shared personal stories of when we first got our period, and encouraged the children to share their own experiences too.

We talked about how to cope with periods, manage mood fluctuations, and understand the role of hormones during this natural process. By listening to their stories and offering guidance, we tried to build comfort and confidence around a topic often considered taboo.

The session ended with a pad distribution drive, ensuring accessibility while reinforcing the message that menstruation is not something to hide, but something to embrace naturally. 💗
