Tibetan Heart Foundation is an NGO with the main objective to support the Tibetan Community by organizing heart related awareness programs and health camps in all the exile Tibetan communities. Guide and assist the heart patients with the best heart hospitals and raise funds for their treatment if required. Provide translation and guidance support to those patients who faces language difficulties. Organize and participate in community works.

A heartfelt thank you to Ladakh Heart Foundation for graciously hosting us and taking care of our stay during the Heart Health Camp. Your warmth and support truly made our visit meaningful. We also had a wonderful networking dinner, generously sponsored by Mr Tseten Norbu la and Mrs Jangchup Dolma la.

Honoring Commitment to Health
Our Director Choney la was presented with a Certificate of Appreciation by the CTA Tibetan Primary Health Centre Choglamsar team and warmly received by Hon’ble Chairman / CEC Adv. Tashi Gyalson la. Alongside, patient records and data from the recent health camp were submitted, followed by discussions on future initiatives to strengthen healthcare and well-being for Tibetan and Himalayan communities in Ladakh. 🌿

Healing at High Altitude: 4-Day Free Cardiac Camp Concludes in Ladakh 💙
The Tibetan Heart Charitable Trust, in collaboration with SNM Hospital, and supported by Karma Foundation (Mundgod), successfully conducted a 4-day Free Cardiac Screening Medical Camp from 2nd to 6th August at the Tibetan Primary Healthcare Centre, Choglamsar, Ladakh.

🩺 The camp provided:
• Comprehensive lipid profile screenings for 106 patients (first 120 tests free)
• ECHO & ECG tests by expert physicians
• Dedicated cardiac consultations
• Heart awareness sessions by Dr. Dhondup la

Special care was extended to heart patients, senior citizens, and residents of old age homes. We are deeply grateful to our medical team, volunteers, and partners for making this initiative a meaningful step toward preventive healthcare access in high-altitude communities.

Building Healthier Communities in the Himalayas 🫀
On August 1st, our team at Tibetan Heart Charitable Trust had the honor of meeting with Hon’ble Chairman / CEC of LAHDC Leh, Adv. Tashi Gyalson la to share our ongoing healthcare work and future plans in Ladakh.

Led by our Founder Tenzin Choney, alongside Sonam Lhamtso (Executive Director, Tibetan Primary Health Centre Choglamsar) and our medical partners Dr. Dhundup Tashi la and Dr. Yeshi Chodon la as the team introduced our first cardiac screening health camp in Ladakh part of our broader mission to expand preventive, accessible, and culturally-sensitive care to Tibetan and Himalayan communities.

We are grateful for the warm reception and encouragement from LAHDC Leh and look forward to a meaningful collaboration in community health and wellness in the region. 🌿

Join us for a two-day health initiative by Tibetan Heart Charitable Trust in collaboration with CTA, FPMT , Satur Heart care Hospital (Hubali), and HCG Suchirayau Hospital. Danang Foundation foundation (NY).
