Many thanks to our MLA Shri Anil Sharmaji for organising the Ayushman Bharat camp at Vasant Vihar. It was a very successful camp since over 100 senior citizens registered themselves with Ayushman Bharat.
In order to help this who were unable to take advantage of this opportunity, we are organising another camp on Wednesday 4th June at the Kalyan Kendra at 11 am.

Some images of the two days of celebration of the Pran Pratistha at our Sanatan Dharma Mandir.
On the 21st we were honoured by a visit from Ms. Meenakshi Lekhi in the evening. A large gathering of over 150 people joined in the kirtan and listened to her very evocative talk about Shri Ram.
The next day we had a gathering of over 250 people for the kirtan, the broadcast of the ceremony on a large LED screen and the Bhandara.
It was an atmosphere of fervour and joy, of singing and dancing.
VVWA were proud to be the co-convenors of the event

VVWA KAAM KI BAAT

Dear Residents

*ZERO WASTE COLONY PROJECT*

VVWA held a meeting with the hon'ble Councillor, Ms. Himani Abhishek Jain. A complete review was held, but emphasis was paid on the Zero Waste Project.

The Councillor opened the discussion by stating that the Government of Delhi has announced and is very serious on the elimination of landfills. She further stated that succesful *implementation of the Zero Waste Project in Vasant Vihar would go a long way in eliminating the pollution causing landfills. *
*It would also lead to a closure of the Dhalaos, which was also essential.*

Director (Operations), VVWA made a detailed presentation on the project; she stated the progress till date and VVWA future plans. A detailed discussions on the project, the Councillor took the following decisions:

A) The work would be executed in line with the existing laws and policies of the Government.

😎 The Councillor wanted that a time and progress schedule should be drawn up giving necessary milestones. The progress would be reviewed at regular intervals. Shortfall, if any, would be made up by deploying extra resources.

C) The Councillor stated that given the importance of the project, she would regularly monitor and co-ordinate all the activities.

VVWA held a Health Checkup Camp at the Kalyan Kendra on Saturday 16th April. We are thankful to Max Saket for their excellent doctors, ranging from Urologist, Dermatologist, General Physician, Ophthalmologist, Orthopedic among others. Tests such as BMD, BP and Blood Test were also conducted for free.
We are thankful to the Golden Liones Club, Delhi Greater for helping us organise this and for being present till the end.
Over 90 people availed of these facilities.
MSSI Delhi MSP’s we’re highly appreciative of the facilities and of the fact that this was an easily accessible venue.
We look holding more Health Camps in the future !
