We recently wrapped up a successful

Health Checkup & Female Health Awareness and Distribution Drive in Kalkaji, New Delhi, focusing on the well-being of women and the elderly in our community. 🏥✨

📍 Location: Sarvodaya Camp, K Block, Kalkaji, New Delhi
📅 Date: 29th April 2026

From providing professional health checkups to ensuring everyone had access to essential supplies, it was a day filled with care and impact.

Here’s what we achieved together:

🩺 Expert Consultations: A huge thank you to Dr. a practicing medical professional, for her time and expertise in conducting thorough health checkups.

🌸 Female Health Awareness: Open conversations about hygiene and wellness to break taboos and empower women.

📦 Medical & Female Hygiene Kits: Distribution of sanitary pads and customized medical kits to those in need.

👵 Elderly Care: Specialized attention and medical support for our senior citizens.

🥟Snacks Distribution: Distribution of samosa to provide immediate energy and nourishment to the Kalkaji residents.

Planting a Peepal tree (Ficus religiosa) is a significant act with deep environmental layers.

Often called the "Sacred Fig" or "Bodhi Tree," its benefits are vast, though its placement requires careful thought due to its immense size and cultural sensitivity.🌿

Environmental & Ecological Benefits

High Oxygen Production: Peepal trees are renowned for their high photosynthetic efficiency. While they don't strictly produce oxygen at night (a common myth), they use Crassulacean Acid Metabolism (CAM) to absorb CO2 during the night, significantly improving local air quality.

Urban Cooling: With its massive, dense canopy, a single mature Peepal can lower the surrounding temperature by 2°C to 4°C, acting as a natural air conditioner in hot climates.

Biodiversity Hub: As a "keystone species," it supports an entire ecosystem. Its small fruits (figs) provide year-round food for birds, squirrels, bats, and monkeys, while its trunk often hosts various insects and epiphytes.

Soil Conservation: Its deep and expansive root system is excellent at preventing soil erosion and improving groundwater recharge
