8th State Conference of BGVS Odisha was held in Gopalpur .Around 149 delegates from 30 districts of Odisha attended the conference.The conference was concluded with an advisory group of the senior persons along with a 23 members EC .The most important point is 9 members are women out of 23 members
A programme was approved on the year long campaign on Future of India , 5 years impact of National Education Policy , to organise Education Assemblies at the districts and states , Preparations of People's report on Education ,programme on Right to Health Care , strengthening JSA Odisha , Establishing community learning Centres and Citizen Education Centres , Campaign on the climate change impact in Odisha .Also planned to do campaigns on scientific temper and Gender Justice .
The conference was excellent with a positive enthusiasm towards transforming to a better Odisha
