🎉 Proud Alumni Achievement

The Alumni Cell, NIT Delhi, is delighted to celebrate the outstanding achievement of our alumnus, Mr. Asheesh Kumar (M.Tech, Electronics & Communication Engineering – VLSI Design, Batch of 2024–2026).

He has been admitted to the Ph.D. Programme in Biomedical Electronics at the Institute of Circuits and Systems, Technische Universität (TU) Dresden, Germany.

In addition, he has been selected under the prestigious National Overseas Scholarship (NOS) Scheme by the Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Government of India, receiving a full scholarship to pursue his doctoral studies.

This achievement reflects his dedication, perseverance, and passion for research, and serves as an inspiration to the entire NIT Delhi community.

He has secured Direct PhD admission in Electronic Systems Engineering at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bengaluru in 2026.

This prestigious achievement reflects his dedication towards academics, strong research potential, and commitment to innovation.

His journey serves as an inspiration to the NIT Delhi community and highlights the excellence achieved by our students at globally recognized institutions.

He has achieved the remarkable milestone of securing Direct PhD Admission in the Department of Electrical Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT Madras) under the HTRA Scheme 2026.

His accomplishment reflects determination, perseverance, and a strong commitment towards research and academic excellence.

The Alumni Cell, NIT Delhi proudly highlights the journey of Mr. Sohan Singh (B.Tech. ECE, Batch of 2021), who has been serving as District Technical Coordinator / District Nodal Officer with the Good Governance Department, Government of Punjab, for the past one year.

In this role, he has been actively leading district-level technical operations, coordinating with various government departments, and contributing towards governance and public service initiatives at the district level.

We are delighted to witness our alumni making meaningful contributions towards strengthening e-Governance and improving public service delivery.

We extend our sincere gratitude to Prof. (Dr.) Ajay Kumar Sharma, Director, NIT Delhi, for his visionary leadership in strengthening the institute’s alumni network.

Alumni Achievement Spotlight

The Alumni Cell, NIT Delhi, is delighted to congratulate Sneha Singh (M.Tech. ECE, 2019–2021) on securing the position of PhD Applied Scientist Intern at Microsoft!

Sneha is currently a Prime Minister's Research Fellow (PMRF) at IIT Bombay, pursuing her PhD in Data Analysis and Machine Learning. Her passion for AI-driven innovation and healthcare technology has led her to this well-deserved opportunity.

Sneha’s journey is truly an inspiration for every student and researcher in our community. We wish her the very best as she embarks on this exciting new chapter!

We also take this opportunity to express our sincere gratitude to Prof. (Dr.) Ajay Kumar Sharma, Director, NIT Delhi, whose visionary leadership has helped the institute build a thriving network of 1500+ alumni across the world. 🎉 Alumni Achievement | NIT Delhi 🎉

The Alumni Cell, NIT Delhi proudly congratulates Dr. Subhajit Karmakar (B.Tech. ECE, Batch 2013–2017) on joining IIT Kharagpur as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electronics and Electrical Communication Engineering.

After graduating from NIT Delhi, he completed his direct Ph.D. from IIT Delhi and pursued Postdoctoral Research at Princeton University, USA. He also served as Assistant Professor at BITS Pilani, Hyderabad Campus before beginning this new chapter at IIT Kharagpur.

His inspiring journey is a matter of immense pride for the NIT Delhi family and serves as motivation for aspiring engineers and researchers.

🎉 Celebrating Alumni Excellence! 🎉

We are delighted to announce that Dr. Jegyasu Gupta (M.Tech ECE 2017–2019, NIT Delhi) has successfully completed his Ph.D. from IIT Guwahati (2026) under the prestigious Prime Minister’s Research Fellowship (PMRF).

His research, “The Role of Metamaterials in Improving Magnetic Resonance Imaging,” contributes to advancements in medical imaging technologies.

He has now been selected for Postdoctoral Research at the Max Delbrück Center for Molecular Medicine (MDC), Berlin, marking another significant milestone in his academic journey.

We take immense pride in his achievement and wish him continued success in his future endeavours.
