Janapada Sampada Division, IGNCA, in collaboration with Bharat Ekam Sustainable Development Foundation, Delhi, organized a one-day training program on 2nd May 2025 at Samvet Auditorium, IGNCA, aimed at equipping 40 educators from across India with tools to integrate India’s tangible and intangible heritage into lesson plans.
Dr. Sachchidanand Joshi ji, Member Secretary of IGNCA, graced the inaugural session as Chief Guest, highlighting the significance of heritage-based education. Key contributors included Shri Saurabh Gautam, Founding Director of Bharat Ekam, and Dr. Harsha Bhargavi Pandiri, who led sessions on Indian Knowledge Systems and interactive lesson planning.
The program featured insightful talks, a screening of IGNCA’s documentaries on storytelling, hands-on activities, and a curated exhibition tour led by Prof. K. Anil Kumar. Creative mediums like Patachitra, Kalamkari, and traditional masks illustrated ways to make heritage learning engaging.
This initiative reflects IGNCA’s commitment to fostering cultural literacy and empowering educators to nurture a deeper connection between students and India’s diverse cultural legacy.
