We are pleased to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between IIRIS and National Law University, Jodhpur, formalising the establishment of the IIRIS Chair of Infosec and Forensic Society, the first such Chair in India.

The MoU also announces a joint Certificate Programme on Cyber-Led Forensic Investigation and Diligence, focused on building future-ready skills at the intersection of law, technology, and investigations.

The MoU signing ceremony was graced by Prof. Dr. Harpreet Kaur, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, NLU Jodhpur, and Ms. Sagarika Chakraborty, CEO, IIRIS.

We are delighted to share that Prof. (Dr.) Harpreet Kaur, Vice-Chancellor, National Law University Jodhpur, has been nominated as a Member of the National Legal Services Authority (NALSA) by the Ministry of Law & Justice, Government of India.

This prestigious nomination made in consultation with the Hon’ble Chief Justice of India recognises Prof. Kaur’s outstanding leadership, academic excellence, and her contribution to strengthening legal education and access to justice in India.

We are delighted to share that our distinguished alumna, Ms. Tanya Agarwal (Batch of 2015), has been honoured with the Gold Medal and The O.P. Malhotra Memorial Award by the Supreme Court Bar Association on Constitution Day, 26th November 2025, at the Supreme Court Lawns, in recognition of her securing First Position in the Advocate-on-Record Examination, 2024 of the Supreme Court of India.

She is the first-ever alumna from NLU Jodhpur to receive this prestigious distinction.

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to her and wish her continued success in her illustrious legal career.

We are immensely pleased to announce that the University’s team comprising of Mr. Ansh Arora, Ms. Bianca Bhardwaj, and Ms. Paavni Kaur Mago, have been declared as winners of the 20th LAWASIA International Moot Court Competition, 2025 held from October 10–13, 2025, in Hanoi, Vietnam.

Additionally, they were also received the award for Team with the Best Spirit.
