उत्तराखंड राज्य विज्ञान एवं प्रौद्योगिकी परिषद (UCOST) UCOST - Uttarakhand State Council for Science and Technology के सहयोग से Institute Of Agriculture Training & Research कृषि प्रशिक्षण एवं अनुसंधान संस्थान द्वारा स्वामी मनमथन सभागार, ग्राम पंचायत मिगवाली में _‘जल स्रोत पुनर्जीवन, जल गुणवत्ता एवं जल जनित रोग’_ विषय पर एक दिवसीय कार्यशाला का आयोजन किया गया।

कार्यक्रम का सत्र उद्घाटन पर्यावरणविद एवं विधायक टिहरी द्वारा किया गया। उन्होंने अपने संबोधन में कहा कि _"जल संरक्षण को कार्बन क्रेडिट से जोड़ना समय की मांग है। पहाड़ का पानी और पहाड़ की जवानी बचानी है तो जल स्रोतों का संरक्षण करना होगा। जल संरक्षण से न केवल पर्यावरण बचेगा बल्कि ग्रामीणों को कार्बन क्रेडिट के माध्यम से अतिरिक्त आय भी मिल सकती है।"

इसके पश्चात डॉ. प्रशांत ममगाई ने जल जनित रोगों (Water Borne Diseases) के बारे में विस्तार से जानकारी दी। उन्होंने दूषित जल से होने वाली बीमारियों, उनके लक्षण, बचाव एवं शुद्ध पेयजल के महत्व पर प्रकाश डाला।

श्री राजेंद्र थपलियाल ने जल स्रोत संरक्षण हेतु तकनीकी जानकारी एवं संवाद किया। उन्होंने वर्षा जल संग्रहण, चाल-खाल निर्माण, परंपरागत नौलों-धारों के पुनर्जीवन तथा टैंक निर्माण की विधियों को सरल भाषा में समझाया।

अंत में *कृषि प्रशिक्षण एवं अनुसंधान संस्थान के मुख्य कार्यकारी अधिकारी* ने *UCOST*, सभी वक्ताओं एवं प्रतिभागियों का धन्यवाद ज्ञापित किया। उन्होंने कहा कि संस्थान जल संरक्षण को आजीविका से जोड़ने के लिए निरंतर कार्य करता रहेगा।

इस कार्यक्रम में *7 ग्राम पंचायतों के प्रधान, 3 क्षेत्र पंचायत सदस्य, स्वयं सहायता समूहों एवं कोटी की महिलाओं सहित कुल 130 लोगों* ने प्रतिभाग किया।

कार्यशाला के समापन पर सभी प्रतिभागियों ने जल संरक्षण की शपथ ली।

*One-Day Workshop on Water Conservation Organized at Migwali with UCOST Support*
_MLA Tehri Inaugurates Session | Dr. Prashant Mangain Speaks on Water-Borne Diseases_

A one-day workshop on _‘Water Source Rejuvenation, Water Quality & Water-Borne Diseases’_ was organized today at Swami Manmathan Auditorium, Gram Panchayat Migwali by the Agriculture Training and Research Institute, with support from the *Uttarakhand State Council for Science and Technology (UCOST)*.

The *session was inaugurated by the environmentalist and MLA Tehri*. In his address, he said, _"Linking water conservation with carbon credits is the need of the hour. If we want to save the water and youth of the hills, we must conserve our water sources. Water conservation will not only protect the environment but can also provide additional income to villagers through carbon credits."_

Following this, *Dr. Prashant Mangain* elaborated on Water-Borne Diseases. He explained the illnesses caused by contaminated water, their symptoms, prevention measures, and the importance of safe drinking water.

Next, *Shri Rajendra Thapliyal* shared technical information and interacted on water source conservation. He explained rainwater harvesting, construction of _chaal-khaals_, revival of traditional _naulas-dharas_, and tank construction methods in simple terms.

Finally, the *CEO of the Agriculture Training and Research Institute* extended thanks to *UCOST*, all speakers, and participants. He stated that the Institute will continue working to link water conservation with livelihoods.

The program was attended by *130 participants*, including *Pradhans of 7 Gram Panchayats, 3 Kshetra Panchayat members, Self-Help Groups, and women from Koti*.

The workshop concluded with all participants taking a pledge for water conservation.

विश्व मधुमक्खी दिवस 2026 पर IATR ने किया मधुमक्खी संरक्षण कार्यशाला का आयोजन
_पद्मश्री कल्याण सिंह रावत जी ने बताया पर्यावरण संरक्षण में मधुमक्खी का योगदान | मधु मित्र सम्मान व युवा मधु सेवा सम्मान प्रदान_

देहरादून, 21 मई 2026:विश्व मधुमक्खी दिवस 2026 के अवसर पर इंस्टिट्यूट ऑफ एग्रीकल्चर ट्रेनिंग एंड रिसर्च (IATR) द्वारा _‘मधुमक्खी संरक्षण एवं सतत मधुमक्खी पालन’_ विषय पर एक दिवसीय कार्यशाला का आयोजन किया गया।

मुख्य अतिथि एवं मुख्य वक्ता पद्मश्री कल्याण सिंह रावत जी ने पर्यावरण संरक्षण में मधुमक्खी के योगदान पर प्रकाश डाला। उन्होंने कहा:
_"मधुमक्खी सिर्फ शहद नहीं देती, वह हमारे पूरे पर्यावरण की रक्षक है। 75% खाद्य फसलों का परागण मधुमक्खी करती है। मधुमक्खी बचेगी तो पहाड़ बचेगा, खेती बचेगी। हर युवा को मधुमक्खी बचाने को पर्यावरण बचाने का मिशन बनाना चाहिए।"_
उन्होंने छात्रों से _‘पर्यावरण दूत’_ बनने का आह्वान किया।

#मधु_मित्र_सम्मान 2026 से प्रगतिशील मौनपालक श्री अनिल भट्ट और श्री अनिल भिष्ट को सम्मानित किया गया। दोनों विशेषज्ञों ने आधुनिक मौनपालन, मधुमक्खी स्वास्थ्य प्रबंधन और शहद विपणन पर व्याख्यान दिए। लगभग 60 कृषि छात्रों के साथ प्रश्नोत्तर सत्र भी आयोजित हुआ।

युवा उद्यमिता को बढ़ावा देने हेतु *युवा मधु सेवा सम्मान 2026 से 5 युवा मौनपालकों को सम्मानित किया गया जो अपना शहद उद्यम शुरू करने जा रहे हैं:
1. *सोभिक मंडल* 2. *उज्जवल* 3. *गौरव* 4. *इंदिशा* 5. *शानिया*

*IATR के मुख्य कार्यकारी अधिकारी* ने कहा:
_"मौनपालन अब सहायक धंधा नहीं रहा। नेशनल बीकीपिंग एंड हनी मिशन से आय, परागण सेवा और निर्यात के बड़े अवसर हैं। भारत को 15 करोड़ कॉलोनी चाहिए, हमारे पास 19 लाख ही हैं। यह कमी ही अवसर है। युवा आगे आएँ, IATR तकनीकी सहयोग देगा।"_
उन्होंने बताया कि IATR की _‘सुंदर मधु वाटिका’_ देसी प्रजाति _Apis cerana indica_ के संरक्षण पर काम कर रही है।

कार्यक्रम में IATR टीम के *श्री नवीन नौटियाल, सुश्री लतिका राणा, सुश्री वैशाली थापा, सुमन एवं हाफिज* सहित संकाय व छात्र उपस्थित रहे।

सभी प्रतिभागियों ने मधुमक्खी संरक्षण की शपथ के साथ कार्यशाला का समापन किया।
