གསལ་བསྒྲགས། / Notice
Songtsen Library is pleased to announce the publication of the four volumes of Professor Melvyn C. Goldstein’s “History of Modern Tibet.” These volumes are a landmark in Tibetan history because for the first time they bring together numerous sources. These are the many articles and books written on the subject, the British India documents at the India Office in London, the documents of the State Department of the United States, documents of the People’s Republic of China, documents and interviews at the Library of Tibetan Works and Archives and interviews with old government officials and knowledgeable persons in Tibet, India, China and those living in the west.
The four published volumes are the following.
