We are pleased to share that on April 10, 2026, a joint delegation of the ADTOI Uttarakhand and Tour Operators Association of Uttarakhand met with Ashish Chauhan, CEO of Uttarakhand Civil Aviation Development Authority.

A formal memorandum was submitted, highlighting key concerns of tour operators and operational challenges within the system.

👉 Key Highlights & Updates:

✅ Quota for Recognized Tour Operators
We received assurance that this matter will be actively reviewed, with expected developments by September 2026. We remain optimistic about a favorable resolution.

✅ Helicopter Ticket Booking System Improvements
It was strongly emphasized that opening bookings for extended periods (1–2 months at once) leads to excessive server load and affects fair access.
The concern has been acknowledged, and improvements are currently under consideration.

✅ Char Dham Helicopter Services (Dehradun Operations)
Key operational issues related to Dehradun based services were discussed, and positive updates are anticipated soon.

The meeting witnessed enthusiastic participation from members and industry professionals, making it a truly engaging and productive session.

The evening concluded on a delightful note with networking dinner, fostering stronger bonds within the community.
