A meaningful day at Project Arunima, Dehradun 💛

On 23 February, Snehadhara Foundation conducted the first phase of a Capacity-Building Programme for caregivers and caretakers at Project Arunima.

The 2-hour in-person session, facilitated by Gitanjali Govindrajan, focused on Embodying Empathy, Rest, and Inclusion in Caregiving.

Through body awareness, breath, voice, rhythm, visual expression, and practices of rest, caregivers were invited to reconnect with themselves while strengthening their ability to care for others with compassion and presence.

The session wasn’t just about tools — it was about building trust, shared understanding, and a supportive community among caregivers.

When we care for the caregivers, we strengthen the entire ecosystem of care. 🌿

11th January — a day that reminded us that we can dare to dream.

After nearly 15 years of living in rented spaces, this home has finally come together — built with love, care, and community. Every wall, every passage, every room has been thoughtfully envisioned, shaped by intention and deep gratitude.

Nestled in the heart of the community, *Arunima* stands tall as a symbol of inclusion, participation, and all the good things in life. We are so thankful to have celebrated her inauguration surrounded by friends, family, future residents, and supporters who made this dream possible.
