Independent Living cottages for children with intellectual and associated disabilities in a home environment, living under the supervision of a house parent. Day School: trains students to maximise their daily living, social & conceptual skills. Vocational Training prepares children for independent living and job placement. Community-based Rehabilitation works with over 100 children in government
schools and preschools across 24 villages, 20-40 kms away from the Raphael campus. Mobile Outreach Team identifies Uttarakhand districts that lack services for those with disabilities. Assists w. awareness / training programmes & continuous follow up. Rehabilitative Workshop a sheltered workplace for leprosy-cured people & young adults with intellectual disabilities. Activities incl. weaving, candle-making, block printing & paper products Enabling ex-Leprosy patients to live with their families and work in the community. Tuberculosis Hospital 26 beds + OPD, Pathology & X-Ray lab. All treatment is free. Little White House accommodates children of leprosy parentage within the community, away from the stigma that surrounds this disease. They attend local schools, receive support & professional training that enables them to start a career.
