This year, Virasat’s 31st edition finds a new home.

The Himalayan Cultural Center, Kaulagarh, a beautiful setting in the foothills of Mussoorie, built to match the scale this festival has grown into. A state-of-the-art auditorium for performances and true acoustics. An open-air amphitheatre under the sky for open-air experiences. Wide, landscaped grounds to walk, breathe, and browse the food & craft bazaar at your own pace. And terraces that open straight onto the mountains, so the view stays part of the evening.

Thirty-one years of you filling every seat—we had built this moment. Bigger stages. More room to wander. The same festival spirit, now with space enough to hold all of it.

Every object here was made by hand. By someone whose family has made it that way for generations.

The Crafts Bazaar at Virāsat brings artisans from more than twenty states to Dehradun for fifteen days. Ringal basketry from the hills. Handloom, pottery, woodwork, brass. Work you cannot buy in a mall, sold by the people who made it, at prices that reach them directly.

Come to browse. Stay because you got talking to a weaver about his/her loom.

Death of Raja Randhir Singh is a great loss to Indian sports and music. He was a respected Olympian, Asian Games gold medallist, and an important sports administrator and patron of music who contributed significantly to the growth of shooting in India. He was a father figure to Virāsat and REACH.
His love for sports, music and cuisine will always be remembered.
His memory will be the beacon of light for REACH. He had planned to take Virāsat festival in all 5 zones of OCA.
