🌸 ANIKA CELEBRATES EXTRAORDINARY INDIAN WOMEN 🌸
Dr Ritu Trivedi — Turning Science into Better Health
Today, Anika celebrates Dr Ritu Trivedi, an accomplished Indian scientist whose work demonstrates how research can move beyond laboratories and improve human lives.
Dr Trivedi, Scientist G and Head of Endocrinology at CSIR–Central Drug Research Institute, Lucknow, was elected a Fellow of the Indian National Science Academy (INSA) in 2026—one of the country’s important recognitions of scientific achievement.
Her research has contributed substantially to our understanding of osteoporosis, osteoarthritis and metabolic bone disorders, particularly conditions associated with ageing and hormonal changes. Importantly, her work has also progressed from scientific discovery toward practical applications, including interventions for bone and joint disorders.
Her journey reminds us that women are not merely participants in science.
