Meet Mr. Sudeep Chandra, the distinguished Speaker of Lok Sabha. A 4th-year student at Law College Dehradun, Faculty of Uttaranchal University, Mr. Chandra's accomplishments and contributions are nothing short of remarkable. With an impressive portfolio of research papers published in blind peer-reviewed journals with ISSN & ISBN, alongside numerous op-eds in various newspapers, Mr. Chandra exemplifies academic excellence and a keen understanding of legal matters. His prowess extends beyond academia, as he has been recognized and awarded in various national and international Youth Parliaments (YPs) and moot courts. Notably, he has chaired National YPs across India, showcasing exceptional leadership skills. A true advocate for legal literacy, Mr. Chandra has actively participated as a young leader in the Oxford Pro bono Publico's Legal Literacy Fellowship Programme, organizing legal awareness and literacy camps throughout India in collaboration with NGOs, the Ministry of Law and Justice, and Oxford Pro bono Club. In recognition of his outstanding contributions to social work, he was honored with the "Best Social Worker Award" at the prestigious "Global Education and Corporate Leadership (GECL-2022) 5th International Annual Awards Summit."Currently interning with Hon'ble Mr. Justice MM Sundresh, Judge, Supreme Court of India, Mr. Chandra has amassed a diverse range of legal experience, including internships with Karanjawala & Co, the Ministry of Law and Justice, and other esteemed legal entities. As a student leader, he serves as the Head of Uttaranchal University's discipline committee, Secretary at Legal Aid Centre, Student Head of the Pro Bono Club at Law College Dehradun, and a valuable member of the Training and Recruitment Division of the college.
