Today is a glorious and historic day for the Bodo community. In a monumental attempt to set a world record, 10,000 artists are performing the traditional 'Bagurumba' dance at Sarusajai Stadium in Guwahati.

The ABSU West Bengal State Committee extends its heartiest congratulations to all the participants of this historic performance and wishes them the best of luck. Graced by the presence of India's Hon'ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Assam's Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, this spectacular event is a magnificent effort to showcase the Bodos' rich cultural legacy on a global scale."
