# way to the faith that works” begins with honesty, willingness, and action. Faith becomes meaningful when it is practiced in daily life through patience, prayer, trust, and positive change. In recovery, faith that works helps a person believe that change is possible even during difficult times. It teaches us to let go of fear, accept guidance, and take responsibility for our actions. True faith is not only about words, but about living with hope, humility, and perseverance every day. When we continue to work on ourselves with sincerity and trust in a Higher Power, faith grows stronger and becomes a source of strength, peace, and recovery.

# .A.W.S. (Post Acute Withdrawal Syndrome) is a condition that many recovering addicts experience after the initial withdrawal phase. It involves emotional and psychological symptoms such as mood swings, anxiety, irritability, sleep problems, lack of concentration, and cravings. These symptoms may come and go and can last for weeks or even months during recovery. P.A.W.S. is a normal part of the healing process as the mind and body adjust to living without substances. With patience, support, healthy routines, meetings, counseling, and continued abstinence, individuals can manage P.A.W.S. successfully and continue moving forward in recovery.

# three C’s are an important reminder for families and loved ones affected by addiction: “I didn’t Cause it, I can’t Control it, and I can’t Cure it.” These words help people understand that addiction is a disease and no one is responsible for another person’s addiction. Family members often feel guilt, fear, and pressure to fix everything, but the three C’s encourage acceptance, healthy boundaries, and self-care. Recovery becomes stronger when both the addicted person and the family focus on support, healing, and hope instead of blame and control.

Through these activities, families learned the importance of teamwork, communication, and emotional bonding in recovery. # over addiction refers to the inability to control the use of drugs or alcohol despite knowing the harmful consequences. Many people struggling with addiction make repeated attempts to stop, cut down, or manage their use, but find themselves returning to it again and again. Addiction affects a person physically, mentally, emotionally, and socially, making it difficult to regain control without help and support. Accepting powerlessness is an important step in recovery because it encourages honesty, humility, and the willingness to seek guidance, treatment, and support from others.
