The Darjeeling Welfare Society (DWS) is proud to institute the Capt. Brijesh Thapa DWS Outstanding Achievement Award 2026, honouring the legacy and sacrifice of Capt. Brijesh Thapa.

The Award seeks to recognise exceptional young achievers from the Darjeeling Hills who have demonstrated excellence across fields including academics, competitive examinations, sports, culture and arts, environment, social service, entrepreneurship, innovation, and any other field.

Who can nominate?
Nominations are open through community organisations, NGOs, educational institutions, sporting bodies, any resident of the Darjeeling Hills with a co-proposer, and the Jury.
