The Central Executive Members (CEM) of the All Tagin Youth Organisation (ATYO) held a consultative meeting on 9th May 2026 at Sinyik Hotel Conference Hall, Daporijo, under the chairmanship of Shri Damkesh Maying, incumbent President of ATYO.

The meeting was attended by the Founding President Shri Tapung Jeke, Founding General Secretary Shri Taluk Gumja, former leaders and advisors of the organisation including Shri Tania Bayor, former President ATYO, Shri Tumba Doyum, former President, Shri Marok Bayor, Advisor, and Shri Tabin Dasi, former Executive Member.

During the meeting, the house deliberated extensively on the role and functions of the apex youth organisation for the greater interest and welfare of the Tagin community.

The meeting was historic and significant as it marked the first occasion where the founding leaders and former office bearers of ATYO gathered together, especially the Founding President and the Founding General Secretary. During the deliberation, the Founding President briefed the house on the history behind the establishment of the organisation and the core objectives for constituting ATYO.

It was brought to light that ATYO originated in Itanagar, the capital of Arunachal Pradesh, in 2007, through the tireless efforts and cooperation of many prominent personalities, whose contributions have already been acknowledged in the ATYO Bye-Laws.
Most importantly, the house specially acknowledged Shri Mamar Ekke for his active and significant role in the establishment of this prestigious platform.

The members also shared the journey of the organisation with emotional reflections on its struggles, achievements, and growth over the years. Despite many ups and downs, ATYO has now attained 18 years of dedicated service to the community.

Further, the house discussed future plans and policies of the organisation and unanimously resolved to continue working wholeheartedly for the welfare and unity of the Tagin community.

“ATYO is for the Tagin Community.”

Jai ATYO.
