✨ 44 Years of Loksadhana ✨

What an unforgettable celebration! ❤️

On 1st August 2026, Loksadhana celebrated its 44th Foundation Day with immense joy, gratitude and hope.

We were privileged to welcome our Chief Guest, Smt. Vaidehi Ranade (IAS), CEO, Zilla Parishad Ratnagiri, along with Mr. Deepak Mengane, Education Officer (Secondary), Mr. Sandesh Kadav, Deputy Education Officer (Secondary), Mr. Mandalik, Group Development Officer, Dapoli, and Mr. Sangade, Group Education Officer, Dapoli.

The celebration began with a visit to our campus and projects. From the project visit to the stage programme, everything was conceptualised, anchored and managed entirely by the students of Loksadhana.

Our students also performed a heartfelt play showcasing Loksadhana’s journey and its work for rural communities. Watching young minds confidently take charge of the entire event was the biggest celebration of what education truly means.

A special highlight was SkillBox, which received heartfelt appreciation from our honoured guests, who expressed their wish to see it reach schools across Ratnagiri district.

The occasion was graced by our Founder, Dr. Raja Dandekar, President, Adv. Kaivalya Dandekar, the Board of Trustees, staff, alumni and well-wishers. The celebration was also streamed live and witnessed by 484 viewers, allowing our extended Loksadhana family to be part of this special day.

To every student, teacher, trustee, donor, volunteer and friend of Loksadhana—thank you for making this 44-year journey possible.

Together, we continue building a future where every rural child has the opportunity to learn, lead and thrive.

This week, Our students at Lokmanya Tilak Vidyamandir & Junior College experienced something special. They didn’t just learn about elections in a textbook, they participated in one.

For the first time, the school conducted its annual student elections through a digital voting system, giving children a real-life experience of democracy, responsibility, and informed decision making.

From election campaigns and speeches to casting their votes and witnessing transparent results, every step became a lesson in leadership, accountability, and citizenship.

Congratulations to all the candidates and our newly elected student representatives. More importantly, congratulations to every student who discovered that their voice matters.

Because at Loksadhana, education goes beyond classrooms. it prepares young minds to become responsible citizens.

एका ग्रामीण तरुणाच्या तांत्रिक शिक्षणाची जबाबदारी घेण्याची हिच आहे सुवर्णसंधी.

आज ग्रामीण भागातील अनेक हुशार तरुण केवळ आर्थिक परिस्थिती अभावी आणि पुस्तकी परीक्षेत रस नसल्यामुळे मागे पडतात. पण, जर त्यांच्या हाताला योग्य तांत्रिक कौशल्याची साथ मिळाली, तर ते स्वतःच्या पायावर उभे राहू शकतात.

लोकसाधना (दापोली) येथे चालणारा १ वर्षाचा NIOS मान्यताप्राप्त DBRT कोर्स अशाच मुलांना इंजिनिअरिंग, फॅब्रिकेशन आणि इलेक्ट्रिकल कामांचे प्रत्यक्ष प्रॅक्टिकल प्रशिक्षण देतो. हा उपक्रम पूर्णपणे आपल्या सर्वांच्या सहकार्याने चालतो.

आम्ही या वर्षी Sponsor a Student (एक विद्यार्थी - एक भविष्य) ही मोहीम राबवत आहोत. तुमच्या एका विद्यार्थ्याच्या स्पॉन्सरशिपमुळे (ज्यामध्ये त्याचा १ वर्षाचा तांत्रिक शिक्षणाचा आणि राहण्याचा खर्च समाविष्ट आहे) एक कष्टाळू मुलगा कुशल तंत्रज्ञ किंवा उद्योजक बनू शकतो.
