The Foundation is active in the field of Indian Classical Music and Dance for the past thirteen years. Foundation organises annual events like ‘Sur-Mansur’ a music festival in memory of the late doyen of Jaipur Atrauli Gharana Padmavibhushan Pt Mallikarjun Mansur, ‘ Pt Kishan Maharaj Smruti Sangeet Sabha’ in the memory of the late Tabla Samrat of Banaras Gharana Pt Kishan Maharaj, ‘Saadhna’ an all
women’s music and the dance festival, apart from other regular concerts all over Mumbai in distinguished auditoriums like Ravindra Natya Mandir, Veer Sawarkar Sabhagraha, Karnataka Sangh -Mumbai to name a few. Foundation has so far featured stalwarts like Pt Ulhas Kashalkar, Ashwini Bhide, BinduJuneja, Arati Anklikar, Vijaya Jadhav Gatlewar, Manjiri Asnare, Padma Talwlkar, Pt. Suresh Talwalkar, Pt.Sadanand Naimpally, Shruti Sadolikar, Sanjeev Abhayankar, Pt.Nityanand Haldipur, Late Pt Raghunath Seth and much more. Foundation has provided a platform opportunities to more than 100 promising musicians so far. Entry for all the concerts and festivals are generally free of cost for the music lovers, as the Foundation’s main objective is to preserve and promote Indian Classical Music and Dance in the society and to take the same to the general public as well by creating awareness about Indian Classical music, dance and their culture along with providing
platform opportunities to the promising and deserving young musicians in the making. The foundation also felicitates senior musicians for their outstanding contributions in the field of Indian Classical Music and Dance. The financial support to organize such programs/ festivals/concerts comes from various Nationalize Banks like State Bank of India, Union Bank, Central Bank of India, Bank of India, LIC and corporate sectors like TATAs etc .and donations from the music lovers as well.
